First Aid and Nursing – c 14
Training topics:
| The first axis: | Introduction to first aid and first aid methods (burns – fractures – cardiopulmonary resuscitation – cardiac and cerebrovascular arrest – wounds and bleeding – suffocation and drowning – in addition to ambulance and evacuation methods) |
| The second axis: | Essential Nursing Skills: -Measuring arterial pressure, pulse, temperature and their types. -Injection methods (intramuscular, subcutaneous, intradermal) -How to open a vein and start an IV infusion (intravenous catheter) |
| The third axis: | Advanced skills: -Urinary catheter. -How to sew wounds, types of threads and stitches. -How to perform an aseptic dressing. – How to electrocardiogram. |
Target group: (males only) from inside and outside Idlib University
Training duration: 25 training hours
Number of trainees: 25 trainees
Training days: Saturday – Sunday – Monday – Tuesday – Wednesday (5 hours per day).
Training start: 3/9/2022
Place of training: Directorate of Training and Rehabilitation.
Training fees: (150 TL for Idlib University students) – (200 TL for trainees from outside the university).
