The meeting of the President of Idlib University, Dr. Ahmed Abu Hajar, with the deans of the faculties and directors of institutes at the University of Idlib, to discuss a number of administrative and scientific issues and to develop plans for the work of the faculties.

The new topics were discussed during the second half of this month and to discuss the colleges’ plans and proposals, where the amendment of the bylaws of the Faculties of Mechanical Engineering and the College of Civil Engineering for the first university stage was discussed in proportion to the academic reality, and the President of Idlib University discussed with the attendees the basic law of Idlib University Hospital and its financial system And they agreed to disburse travel costs for students accepted in the Turkish scholarship, and the costs of obtaining the Turkish Kamalak card to continue their registration on the scholarship, noting that these students will return after completing their studies to serve their families in the liberated north.

A number of deans suggested reappointing members of the technical staff with degrees higher than their current job rank, as the majority agreed to the proposal and to appoint new members to the technical staff. The president of the university, after consulting with the audience, approved decisions to enroll students in the second university stage within the various specializations and faculties.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. Ahmed Abu Hajar praised the efforts made by the deans within their colleges and directors of institutes, and their tireless work to raise the scientific level in colleges and institutes and to secure their needs and laboratories.
