Directorate of Supplies and Procurement
The supplies and procurement directorate undertakes to provide the university with complete needs of laboratories, laboratory tools, furniture and complete stationery that serve the educational process in the colleges and institutes of Idlib University. Procurement methods using the most appropriate methods are from tenders or solicitation of offers or direct purchase according to the powers and provisions mentioned in the system of the Directorate of Supplies and Purchases at the university, and also puts the purchasing policy within the modern scientific and technical methods to achieve the goals of the university.

The message:
The Supplies and Procurement Directorate seeks to use the best and most sophisticated methods of procurement. The Directorate also ensures the maintenance of good relations between the Directorate and all university offices. The Directorate undertakes administrative work from entries from the procurement committees and outputs from warehouse secretaries in the colleges and institutes of Idlib University and follows the movement of all materials entering the Directorate, as does the Directorate by following up the periodic inventories of warehouses and documenting them in special records and maintaining all records and bills entering and leaving the directorate.
Departments of the Supplies and Procurement Directorate at the University of Idlib:
1– Procurement Department:
This department provides all the supplies needed by the university, which have the capacity to use, in particular, general maintenance and stationery materials, and works to secure appropriate price offers at reasonable prices.
2– Warehouse Department:
This department undertakes storing all university supplies coming to the university and delivering them to the relevant authorities according to the instructions followed in the delivery and organization of supplies inside the warehouses according to the instructions stipulated by the directorate and according to the nature of each article and documenting it within the records of entries and outputs and conducting the necessary inventories for them.
3– Contracts and Auditing Department:
This department organizes the contracts between the directorate and the bodies to which the tenders advertised at the university are won.
4– Follow-up, Receipt and Delivery Department:
This circle does

- Adopts the idea of launching a central tender for material that is purchased in bulk rather than retail.
- Carrying out a field survey to reach the best suppliers of supplies at low prices on the market and in high quality.
- Setting a policy for the supplies and procurement system to save effort and cost, and provide them on demand in addition to contributing to reducing costs.
