Rehabilitation and Training Directorate
The Directorate’s vision:
Developing the professional life of university cadres and preparing university graduates to enter the labor market with confidence and build a good career for them through the various training programs that it offers, which aim to build a set of skills and knowledge for the trainees.
Directorate’s Message:
The Directorate encourages and enables students, researchers, and university graduates to make a deliberate and objective decision about the profession appropriate to their inclinations and abilities in a way that contributes to the development and development of society. It also prepares and implements high-level programs that provide professional guidance services to society and beneficiaries (students – university professors – university staff).
The goals of the directorate:
- Developing and qualifying human resources in specializations that are appropriate to their jobs and studies and according to the requirements of society
- Helping undergraduate students to assess themselves and determine their skills, weaknesses and strengths with regard to employability or follow-up in graduate studies.
- Raising the level of employability for Idlib University students.
- Providing training programs that provide specialized professional training for the university’s cadres, students, and interested community members
- Attracting and enabling organizations, bodies and companies to market their job and training opportunities at the university and increasing the opportunities for meeting with university students.
- Work with the representatives of the directorate in colleges to spread the vision and mission of the directorate and implement its tasks in colleges with the participation of faculty members and representatives of students
- Working to develop and train members of the educational body and develop their scientific and administrative skills.
The tasks of the directorate:
- Designing and conducting questionnaires and identifying training needs at the University of Idlib.
- Conducting lectures, workshops, seminars and conferences related to the work of the university.
- Design and distribute (brochures and introductory brochures) for the various topics of the university
- Developing skills and assisting in entering the labor market by conducting training courses on these skills, in their specialized and general types
- Organizing meetings between social events (organizations – companies – bodies) with university cadres and students with introductory and scientific sessions.
- Carrying out specialized training courses for faculty members in general and modern teaching skills within a program studied under the supervision of specialized experts.

The Rehabilitation and Training Directorate is affiliated with the Administrative Vice-President of the University and its administration is formed according to the following:
- Director of Rehabilitation and Training: appointed by the President of the University on the proposal of the Vice President for Administrative Affairs.
- An advisory team (temporarily appointed): Its formation is proposed by the director of the directorate and the vice president of the university.
- Director of the Administrative and Financial Affairs Department, proposed by the Director of Rehabilitation.
- Head of the Academic Performance Evaluation and Quality Assurance Department, proposed by the Director of Qualification.
- The head of the Training and Capacity Building Department is proposed by the Rehabilitation Directorate.
- The head of the Women Development Division is proposed by the Rehabilitation and Training Directorate.
- The head of the Vocational Training Division is proposed by the Rehabilitation and Training Directorate.
- The head of the Technical Training Division proposes from the Rehabilitation and Training Directorate.
- The head of the Technical Training Division is proposed by the Rehabilitation and Training Directorate.
- The head of the Field Training Division is proposed by the Rehabilitation and Training Directorate.
- Trainers with a variety of specializations from within the university’s owners. For each specific course, trainers are selected by the Vice President for Administrative Affairs and the Director of Rehabilitation and Training.
- Coaches can be used outside of an angel when necessary.

Distribution of tasks:
First – Director of Rehabilitation and Training:
- Supervising all the technical, administrative, and financial directorate’s activities, and he is responsible before the administrative vice president of the university for the progress of work, issues administrative instructions and notes, and follows up on their implementation.
- Submit an annual report to the Vice President for Administrative Affairs on the work of the Directorate.
- Follow up on plans and activities related to the work of the Rehabilitation and Training Directorate.
- Communicating with public institutions, bodies, and organizations working in the field of training and the labor market, organizing agreements that serve the work of the Rehabilitation Directorate and its goals, and submitting memoranda of understanding to the Vice President for Administrative Affairs for their signature and ratification.
Secondly – Departments of the Directorate:
The Directorate includes the following departments, and other departments may be added after a request from the Director of Rehabilitation and Training and the approval of the University Presidency:
1- An advisory team (assigned temporarily)
- The team composed of academic, professional and training specializations shall develop general and specialized training programs for university cadres, students and interested parties.
- Determining the students’ needs for the general skills required by the labor market
- Work with the teaching staff at the university to integrate general skills into different curricula in all colleges and institutes at the university
- Communicating with the deans of colleges and their educational staff to get to know the various academic disciplines and the extent of benefiting from them
2- Director of the Administrative and Financial Affairs Department.
- Supervising and classifying records and papers.
Organizing books, decisions and schedules related to the workflow
- Regulating electronic and paper financial records.
- Follow up on the financial affairs of the exercises and organize them in special. records.
- Organizing schedules and wages related to training for the university president.
3- Head of the Academic Performance Evaluation and Quality Assurance Department
- Follow up on the progress of the exercises and ensure that they achieve their goals Submit work development proposals
- Develop a plan for following up on training and administrative and academic development plans
- Determining the academic stage needs for students with the professional training skills they need
- Conducting meetings with all specialists in the academic fields, employers and students to identify training needs for job opportunities
- Conducting meetings with university faculty graduates to present their success stories to students as a model to help them build their own projects
4- Head of the Training and Capacity Building Department
- Supervising all the exercises held
- Organizing appropriate records to control the training and its smooth running
- Presenting appropriate suggestions and recommendations for developing the exercises
- Overseeing the rest of the departments and ensuring coordination between them
5- Women Development Division
- Conducting interviews and questionnaires with university students to determine appropriate training needs for available job opportunities
- To suggest courses for female students and their plans and follow-up on their activities
- Organizing some group meetings to help female students interpret labor market data and develop job planning skills and labor market access skills.
- Full supervision of the courses for university students, both administratively and knowledgeable.
6- Vocational Training Division
- Coordination with the program director to announce the establishment of vocational training
- Follow-up the exercises as soon as they opened

- Issuing training results and coordinating the design and issuance of certificates.
7- Technical Training Division.
- Coordination with the program director to announce the establishment of technical training
- Follow-up the exercises as soon as they opened
- Organizing attendance records and keeping all documents related to training
- Submit a report to the qualification manager on the progress of the training and the expected results

- Follow up on all the training held inside and outside the directorate.
